Being, doing, thinking

Len teaches me to be more generous and more expansive in my being, doing, and thinking. I remember Len saying that I seemed so busy, that he wanted to hang out, and that the best way to hang out with busy people is to help them! Many people say this, but few people follow through. Len helped me install the Study Center for Group Work in Brooklyn for two days, reminded me about ways to expand the project and bring in more friends, ran errands, and brought a gentleness and care the whole time. From there, we have done a lot together in a project-based friendship of sorts. Len has a rare combination of generosity, rigor, and passion that propels him and those around him.
